If it's fish you want then you have picked the right place. Lac La Hache, which means Lake of the Axe, is famous for Kokanee, Lake Trout (up to 40 lbs.) Rainbow Trout, and fresh water Ling Cod. The resort offers the best fishing tackle, bait and licenses. If you don't have a rod and reel, then you are welcome to use ours.

Fishing on this lake consists of mostly trolling, 12 foot and 14 foot fishing boats can be rented from us. We also have a boat launch and marina if you wish to bring your own boat.

Early season fishing sees anglers working the shallow waters around the various islands for lake trout. The best fishing is generally in the early morning, from sunrise to noon. The fish cleaning station is a great meeting point to pick up hot tips.
