Summer Water Activities

Swim and snorkle in the warm, clean waters of Lac La Hache. The islands across from the resort are a must to visit, take a kayak, canoe, or even a water-bike, and enjoy the beauty of nature.

If you need to burn off some energy try out some water skiing, wakeboarding, or tubing. Ask one of the friendly staff for details.

For a relaxing adventure we offer tours around the lake, including a trip to the waterfall. Don't forget your bathing suit.

When the wind is in the right direction try your hand at sailing. Our 18ft Hobby Cat is availble on request with our resident 'captain'

Summer Land Activities

Our Resort offers horse-shoes, table tennis, pool, foosball, lending library, Satellite TV and a children's playground.We also have a Day Lodge that provides our visitors a place where they can have a cozy get together around the fireplace or watch the news on our satalite TV! The Day Lodge also have a Library corner with books, magazines, newspapers and book exchange. We also have a pool table for our guests, but be sure to watch out for our grizzly bear on the wall!

Bird Watching / Local Rodeos

Lac La Hache is famous for loons, bald headed eagles, osprey, and trumpeter swans. There are local rodeos thoughout the Cariboo in high season.

Mountain Bike Tour

This half day trip takes you into the pure Canadian bush with our mountain bikes. Pristine forests and lakes are awaiting you. Take a packed lunch and don't forget your camera! We will bring you and your bike back to the resort by boat.

Walk-A-Husky

A presentation to the unique sport of dog sledding 'Mushing" is offered at the resort . Watch how to harness the dog and learn all about the sled and the cold winter months. Go inside the kennel with one of our 'mushers' and enjoy a close- up , hands -on with our purebred Siberian huskies (Children must be accompanied with an adult) When the weather is not too hot there is also an opportunity to walk-a-husky on leash (am only).

Dirt Biking/ATV'ing

Bring your dirt bikes and ATV's and we will show you awesome trails to ride your heart out!!
